Hello everyone!!   

      First of all, to ALL of you, I apologize for not having a blog last week.  The busyness of the season caught me last week!!  But I am here to catch you up on all music "happenings" this week!! 

Elementary Music: 

     The kids have been working hard on some Christmas music!  We have been using the abundance of Christmas music out there to learn all about arrangements.  We have continued to talk about Irving Berlin and used a few different versions of "White Christmas" to emphasis differences between arrangements of songs etc..   It's been a lot of fun. 

     This week, we have been working on a surprise for parents that I will hopefully be able to  share with you more next week!  I can't believe that next week is our last week of the year!!!  So much to do between now and then!!!

MS Chorus: 

      We have been rehearsing hard to perform the Christmas musical.  The kids have been working really hard.  I have been working with them on listening to one another and practicing harmony.  They are such a good group of kids and are sounding more and more amazing!!  I continue to get compliments from students and teachers here about their performance last month!  I'm so proud of them all!   Next week is our final week before Christmas!  This wack-a-doodle year has gone by quickly!!!
